Wow this really makes me miss all the stippling work I did in highschool. It’s kinda exhilarating when you work this way, almost like meditation. But it comes out slowly, and feels almost automatic as you work. Your hands lift and fall so minimally but your hand is steady on the spot. You think about the spacing and just rest at ease thinking peacefully. You’re not focusing on colouring in the image in or speeding across the page with lines. You’re widdling slowly and calmly against the paper, achieving a surprising effect by just working your focus over a rather spacious amount of time.

I love doing stuff like that, I didn’t even know what it was called until now though, haha
